Why should voters elect you?
"Because I'm not a professional politician. I'm a thoughtful, intelligent and involved citizen. And unlike my opponents, I accept no money from corporate special interests."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Like all Americans, citizens in the 2nd District face a radically altered energy future. We're running out of oil, and all fossil fuels cause global warming. Using clean, renewable energy sources, like solar, wind and biomass, we can create a future for ourselves and our children that's cleaner, safer and more secure. By building an America that's energy independent and the global leader in clean energy, we'll not only create thousands of high-quality jobs, improve our trade deficit and engender goodwill, we'll also break the grip of OPEC and the multinational energy companies on our nation and our future."
