Why should voters elect you?
"I will fight to bring accountability and pride back into the D.C. school system while highlighting the incredible students, teachers and principals in District 2."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The current school board member poorly serves the students, their parents and the school neighborhoods in District 2. During the last four years, inadequate attention has been made to improving management systems so public tax dollars are invested wisely for cultivating student achievement and learning. A lack of oversight by the current school board member contributed to a $12 million cost overrun at the newly constructed Barnard Elementary School. In that time, local school budgets have been seriously reduced resulting in the loss of teachers in all schools. We need to end mismanagement and provide quality education to all children."
