Why should voters elect you?
"My combined 22 years of public service for the city speaks for itself. I am a proven, tested and committed leader."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The biggest challenges for our city are sound fiscal management, drastic improvements in the educational system, equitable economic development, safer neighborhoods for our family and affordable health care and housing for the poor and vulnerable. Restoration of faith in the District's government that requires a reform of the system to serve better, with fair and equitable treatment of all citizens and accountability from management and staff of all agencies. The lack of accessibility to elected officials by the common citizen. The need to work diligently not simply to benefit ourselves but to provide a better life for generations to come."
