Why should voters elect you?
"I will keep Virginia moving forward by promoting innovative transportation solutions and expanded early childhood education and continuing the successful management practices of the Warner-Kaine administration."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Our transportation system is in crisis. We cannot just tax and pave our way out of the problem we need a new approach. As a former mayor who worked with roads, rail, public transit, an airport and a port, I know how to get results. I'll do a better job of connecting land use and transportation so that we grow in ways that don't make congestion worse. I'll stop legislators from taking transportation funds for other programs. I'll promote the right balance of solutions because more choices mean better transportation."
