Why should voters elect you?
"I keep my word, and with 14 years' experience in the General Assembly, I am in a position to help constituents with state government problems."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Past supervisors approved homes without getting enough proffers to pay for roads or reserved mass transit corridors. The assembly this year funded a VRE study to Haymarket that found that for $66 million to $109 million we can bring VRE to Gainesville. We should build the tri-county parkway as a toll road and not sell the Dulles Toll Road. I worked with Sen. Charles J. Colgan and Del. Harry J. Parrish to widen I-66 to eight lanes to Gainesville and voted to widen Route 28 from Route 7 to I-66 to eight lanes and build six interchanges with no tax increase."
