Why should voters elect you?
"I helped Gov. Warner pass a bipartisan budget that restored Virginia's fiscal integrity, prevented a government shutdown and protected funding for transportation and education."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Traffic congestion is our number one problem. My plan calls for extending Metro to Tysons Corner and on to Dulles, widening Interstate 66 and introducing bus rapid transit. Last year, I succeeded in getting an additional $848 million for roads, Metro and Virginia Railway Express. I am committed to using our current budget surplus to make the long-term investments we need to reduce traffic congestion."
