Why should voters elect you?
"I'm the only candidate with new ideas, fresh energy, a strong progressive vision for the future and a proven record of fighting for what's right."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The skyrocketing cost of living in the region is the most urgent overall problem, since it affects people of all ages and from all walks of life. However, this is really a web of interconnected issues driven by the growing costs of housing and health care, the failure of the state to fully fund education and transportation, and unfair tax policies that are pushing out senior citizens, others on fixed incomes and homeowners who teeter at the edge of being able to pay their bills. It's also urgent that we fight the growing attacks on gay rights and women's rights."
