Why should voters elect you?
"I know my constituents and the issues. I have the experience and a proven record of accomplishments. I've been there for the citizens."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Transportation. I've worked for hundreds of commuter parking spaces, fourth lane of Interstate 95, intersection improvements and more public transit. Since I've been in the General Assembly, the transportation budget has grown by more than 70 percent. That's not enough. I will continue to fight for more money for our region, more capacity on our roads and public transportation improvements. I oppose I-95 HOT lanes. I support a constitutional amendment to mandate all transportation funds be spent on transportation; using general fund money for transportation; a surcharge on chronically bad drivers for transportation; bus rapid transit; using technology; and continued VDOT reforms."
