Why should voters elect you?
"I will focus on the issues important to my constituents and always be candid with them about my own views on those issues."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Transportation is the most urgent issue facing residents of the 51st District. To date, our elected officials have lacked the political will to tackle this problem, instead distracting the public with petty issues like license plate slogans and road names or, worse yet, unnecessary and divisive social legislation. I believe instead that we should focus on flexible and affordable solutions to our transportation woes, using innovative tools like bus rapid transit and telecommuting, which have the potential to take cars off the roads. Moreover, we should resist measures like HOT lanes that threaten to harm our successful carpool/slug-rider system."
