	Kwanzaa, an African American spiritual
holiday, is a time for friends to enjoy
the blessings of living and acting together
as a family. Maulana Ron Karenga,
the father of Kwanzaa, assigned each of
the seven days one aspect of community.
	The holiday traditionally begins on
Dec. 26 and concludes on Jan. 1.
