Two participants who entered washingtonpost.com's Oscar Picks Sweepstakes correctly picked seven of the eight categories and the tiebreaker.
After a random drawing, Stephen Pearson of Alexandria was declared the winner and David Mogensen of Springfield the runner-up.
Both players missed Best Supporting Actress and correctly predicted "Gladiator" to win five Academy Awards.
Pearson won a private screening for 50 people of "Planet of the Apes" in July. Both Pearson and Mogensen earned a DVD player.
