'Freddy Got Fingered'

'Freddy Got Fingered' Tom Green and Rip Torn star in "Freddy Got Fingered." (20th Century Fox)
See Tom Green, shock-performer from MTV, do every gross thing he can – from supping on cow teats to climbing inside the bloody carcass of a deer. Few of these gross-out antics have much to do with the story.

Oh yeah, the story.

Green plays Gordon, a 28-year-old slacker living at home who wants to be a great animator. His verbally abusive daddy (Rip Torn in his worst role of all time) has no faith in him. Gordon's mom suffers quietly.

But we suffer worst of all.

In a sense, this is a horror film, worse than anything Andy Kaufman could dream up, in which Green tries to outgross himself.

Well, he succeeds, if that's any kind of welcome news to you. Later on this movie.

"Freddy Got Fingered" (R, 95 minutes) – Contains relentless obscenity, slapstick violence, depictions of animal abuse and disgusting, gross-out comedy designed to offend almost everyone.
