It’s spring, and the National Zoo seems to be full of babies and youngsters, planned and unplanned. Highlights of the zoo's growing family attractions include Kandula the elephant calf, Berani the Sumatran tiger cub and a new lowland gorilla; but not to be overlooked are infant swans, macaques and crayfish.
