Her Story

Lizzy, the team's only goalie, lives for soccer and her dogs. "No matter what happens on the trip," she says, "it will be an eye-opening experience."

June 26: "Soccer is an important part of my identity. I'm hoping we can help the (South African) girls feel good about themselves in the same way."
