Image 1 of 22
The sky over Belgrade is filled with traces of fire from the city's antiaircraft defense system in the early hours of April 30, 1999, which is said to have been the heaviest night of NATO bombing. At least three people died and nine people were injured. Missiles hit a civilian area as well as the Yugoslav headquarters in central Belgrade.
