Account of a Serbian Police Raid in Djakovica Friday, April 30, 1999 On April 1, Serbian police and militiamen wearing black ski masks swept into the Qerim neighborhood of Djakovica after dark. Moving from house to house, they executed at least 54 ethnic Albanian townspeople, including women and children, survivors reported.
