Ernesto "Che" Guevara listens pensively to a 26th of July address in Santiago de Cuba. Guevara was said to have smoked only the cheapest cigars after rejecting his bourgeois life as an Argentinean doctor. Marxist Guevara believed that revolution would cure Latin America's social ills. He was executed in 1967 by Bolivian troops while trying to spark a peasant insurgency.
