Muhammadiyat CBW depot and test range |
| Operated by the Al Muthanna State Establishment, Muhammadiyat became Iraq’s main storage center and test range for chemical weapons. Bombing during the Gulf War heavily damaged Muhammadiyat, and UNSCOM destroyed the remaining chemical weapons during its clean up of the Al Murthana center for chemical and biological warfare.
