Assessing the Damage in Iraq
Over the course of a four-day campaign, the United States and Britain attacked nearly 100 targets with 415 cruise missiles and hundreds of bombs. Initial damage assessments from the Pentagon indicate that U.S.-British forces hit 85 percent of their targets, 74 percent of them successfully. Below are a few of the major sites hit by those forces.
