It also contains the Japanese diplomatic blue book, Japan's equivalent of a U.S. State Department yearly report. Embassy information is also on the page.

Japan: The National Diet Home Page
This is a Stanford-based site that contains comprehensive information about the Diet, Japan's legislative body. It includes information about the Diet, a tour of the building, a history of the institution and a map of the surrounding area.

Prime Minister's Official Residence
This page includes links to the Prime Minister's speeches, white papers and other information resources.

Japan: Living Manual
This is a guide produced by NTT Research Laboratories for foreigners living in Japan. It includes everything from schools to holidays to living information and it offers excellent insights into Japanese culture. Some of the information is specific to NTT, but the vast majority is not.
