This 440-foot-long frieze by Al Held runs across the northernmost half of the huge glass wall facing the runway, the Potomac River and Washington's monuments. Art critic Ferdinand Protzman says: "The triangles, circles and rectangular shapes of this composition spill onto the window frames and the concourse floor, forming patterns of color that shift along with the sun."
