Washington National Airport can be reached from U.S. Route 1 and the George Washington Memorial Parkway. Both roads have airport exits.

For directions from Maryland, Virginia or the District, consult the airport's Web site. To return to this page, click on the "back" button on your browser.

Once you've figured out your route, check out our more detailed map showing the location of the new terminal, the airlines that have moved in, and new road patterns at the airport. But be forewarned! The detailed map could take several minutes to load on your computer.

Or, sneak a peek inside the top two floors of the new terminal -- the concourse and ticketing levels. The first level, for baggage claims, is not shown.
