    Two thousand Washingtonians, ages 55 and older, display their physical prowess in 12 athletic events, while promoting healthy lifestyles and civic pride. Winners are awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. For more information, call 673-7679.

    Teen boxing teams travel to the District to compete for the coveted Mayor's Cup. The character-building attributes associated with amateur boxing will be highlighted in this competitive event showcasing qualified teams from the District and other inner-city communities.
