    Day Camps

    Two popular, in-town wooded park areas serve as day camp sites for boys and girls ages 7 to 14. Campers are sensitized to the different ways to appreciate and enjoy the outdoors through a variety of activities. They include: hiking; swimming; arts & crafts; nature study; singing; drama; sports; field trips, cookouts; and Family Night.

    Three two-week sessions operate weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee is $35 per session. Registration begins May 4. Applications can be picked up at the Camping Office, 1230 Taylor St., NW, Room 204. Telephone: 576-6298.
