The Beginning of a Plan
This map lays out some of the ideas, including a trolley line and a pedestrian walkway, that Mayor Marion Barry's task force produced. The plan, says the task force, is only a blueprint that will likely go through extensive revisions. For help reading the map, go to Key.

Light Gray=Government
Dark Gray=Residential
Patterned Gray=Mixed use (residential, office, entertainment, retail)
