Why should voters elect you?
"I will continue to lead the fight for excellence in our schools. With $140 million in new funds, we will shortly begin to rebuild our neighborhood schools. With an additional $2.8 million in new funds, we will train provisional teachers to meet certification, thus enhancing classroom instruction. I support quality development at National Harbor with a new 'Maryland Welcome Center.' I fought for and won a 12-lane Woodrow Wilson Bridge replacement; future improvements to routes 210 and 5. Health care; jobs; senior services; scholarships; clean, safe, attractive neighborhoods; upscale shopping and recreation are important. I will continue the fight."
