County Council District 2
In the Democratic council primaries, County Executive Douglas M. Duncan fell short in his push to boost his support on the council, with which he sparred many times during his first term in office. His support could be further eroded in the general election, as some Republican council candidates are expected to mount strong challenges.

I would press for a transportation and road system that gets people to work, shopping, recreation and health care. I would make sure that youth can learn what they are able in a safe and constructive environment."
