Maryland Governor's Race - 1998
Among the Democrats expected to challenge Gov. Parris N. Glendening (D) in the primary are Harford County Executive Eileen M. Rehrmann and former Redskin Ray Schoenke. Republicans Charles I. Ecker and Ellen R. Sauerbrey are also making a bid for the seat. Ecker is the Howard County executive, Sauerbrey is the former minority leader of the Maryland House of Delegates.
