I think the people of Virginia want somebody who's going to tell them the truth, who's going to be honest with them, who's had a track record of being honest in public office and wants to do what's right for the people. And is willing to tell the people what he plans to do. I've made it very clear that I'm going to be square with the people of Virginia: on my priorities on education. We're going to eliminate the personal property tax on cars and trucks.
But the people want to know that you're going to do what what you say. They want to know, with confidence, that you're real. I've kept my promises as Attorney General, and I'll keep my promises as Governor.
