Federal offices are closed. No regular mail delivery; Express Mail only. Most post offices are closed; Merrifield Branch (8409 Lee Hwy.) is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; National Capitol Station (2 Massachussetts Ave. NE) is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Gaithersburg Suburban Station (1650 Shady Grove Rd.) is also open. Smithsonian museums are open.
MetroRail and MetroAccess will operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight. SmartMover, DASH, CUE, "The Bus" and Connect-A-Ride will operate on a weekday schedule. Metrobus, the Fairfax Connector and Ride-On will operate on a Saturday schedule. VRE and the Crystal City Trolley will not be in service. PRTC OmniRide will operate on a modified holiday schedule and MARC will run on a holiday schedule. The Tysons Shuttle will run Bus A only. MTA commuter routes will offer limited service.
