Doctors Disciplined

From 1999 to 2004, area medical boards disciplined 67 physicians for substance abuse. Seven other physicians were given 'reciprocal' discipline for an offense in another jurisdiction. More than half of the doctors have been disciplined more than once for substance abuse during their medical careers.
