The Inaugural Parade

  • Memorial Bridge will be closed from 3 to 7 p.m. for Thursday's Lincoln Memorial program, which will conclude at 5:50 p.m. with about 10 minutes of fireworks at five sites on or near the National Mall.

  • No other major street closings have been reported.

  • The public attending the inaugural show will have to go through one of five crowd checkpoints: Constitution Avenue and 19th Street NW; Constitution and Virginia Avenue NW; 17th Street on the north side of the Reflecting Pool; 17th Street on the southside of the Reflecting Pool; and Independence Avenue by the D.C. War Memorial.

  • No alcoholic beverages will be permitted, and everyone will be subject to search.

  • The Smithsonian and Archives-Navy Memorial Metro stations will be closed Saturday until the Inaugural Parade ends.
