Census Population Estimates 2000-2009

Statistics released on Tuesday, March 23, by the U.S. Census Bureau reveal that the Washington, D.C. region continues to experience growth, despite the onset of the economic crisis towards the end of the decade. Most of the growth in the area is happening in Virginia, with Loudoun County being the fifth fastest growing county in the country.
