Elected offices/civic activities: Former member, City of Fairfax 2020 Commission; former chairman, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board; former member, school bond committees; former member, Elementary School Task Force; volunteer coach, Fairfax Police Youth Club.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "I believe the most urgent issue is ensuring that our two schools currently under renovation, Fairfax High and Lanier Middle, are completed on time with minimal educational interruption. Also, to continue to monitor the two elementary school facilities so that all students' educational needs are being met."

Why should voters elect you? "I'd like to continue the success of the current board and believe I'd bring fresh ideas to the table to enhance our children's educational experience."
