Why should voters elect you? "Democrats should nominate me because I have the resources, energy and ideas to defeat Tom Davis this year."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "The culture of corruption in Washington is the most urgent problem facing our nation and the reason we're not seeing real solutions to issues like health care, transportation and the war in Iraq here in the 11th District. The Republicans in Washington represent the lobbyists and special interests they don't represent us. I'll fight for a Congress where ideas hold more value than money and where our elected representatives truly represent us. I'll also work to bring our troops home from Iraq as soon as possible, increase access to quality health care and reduce gridlock on our roads."
