What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "The biggest issue we face is the divisiveness we've experienced about opening a day labor center. It's admirable that individuals in our town want to help those who are less fortunate than themselves, but it's also admirable that others believe that government entities (such as the town and county) should uphold the law and not support or enable any illegal activity. This debate has caused a severe strain on our long-held spirit of community, and we must acknowledge opinions that differ from our own in a peaceful and respectful way in order to successfully deal with the challenges we face."

Why should voters elect you? "My appreciation and understanding of our town's heritage and my past experience on council allow me to confront issues with honesty and respect."
