Elected offices/civic activities: Member, Manassas School Board, 1994-present, Historic Manassas Inc., Disabled American Veterans.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "I believe the most urgent problem we face is the need to replace the leadership of a board that has lost public confidence and respect. Our school system is stagnant and incapable of meeting the critical challenges we face. These include curriculum, ESOL challenges, gaining community confidence."

Why should voters elect you? "The failure of our leadership to respond to the people demands change. My goal is to provide that change."
