Daniel K. Maller
Candidate for City Council
Age: 45
Residence: City of Falls Church.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "Falls Church is literally and figuratively at a crossroads. The ever-increasing demands of supporting and enhancing the quality independent school system of which we are so proud have fallen almost exclusively upon our homeowners. To address the critical need to diversify our local tax base, we have begun to pursue redevelopment. This vision must be realized without losing what made Falls Church: the essential small-town character, the perfect balance between the hustle and bustle of urban life and the calm of suburbia, the ability to walk or bike to almost everything while maintaining intimate connectedness to our transportation infrastructure."
Why should voters elect you? "I have the skills to ensure that the city that we build remains the city where we want to live. Please vote and remain engaged!"
