What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "Neighborhood preservation is the most urgent issue that we face in Herndon. Excessive occupancy, illegal boardinghouses, illegally parked commercial vehicles and other zoning violations are threatening the quality of life in some of our residential areas. These zoning violations degrade the overall aesthetics of the neighborhoods involved, affect how we feel about our neighborhoods and have the potential to degrade property values. While we have significantly reduced the time to investigate and abate violations, we must continue to be aggressive in our neighborhood preservation efforts."

Why should voters elect you? "I believe my record demonstrates that I am a dedicated public servant who applies common sense, fairness and a positive approach to decision making."
