What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "City of Fairfax quality of life is increasingly threatened by development (internal and external) and traffic snarls on major arteries and cut-through routes. Additionally, the economic health of the city requires prudent spending decisions to ensure service on debt for recent capital expenditures. Carefully monitored development will ensure compatibility with our unique city environment. New development must blend seamlessly with our quiet, family-friendly neighborhoods. Current property owners' rights must be carefully guarded. Arterial roads must be managed with synchronized signals within the city and at city borders. Cut-through traffic must be controlled using traffic-calming devices and an increased police presence."

Why should voters elect you? "Responsible and responsive leader. Two-term council member. Experienced, independent, mature, hard-working voice with a common-sense approach. Prepared and ready for challenges ahead."
