What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "The primary issue facing our schools is the continuation of excellent academic achievement. The educational requirements our students face will certainly expand if our nation is to remain competitive in the global marketplace. The challenge before this School Board will be to ensure continued success through the contract with Fairfax County public schools, and to ensure the schools are materially capable of providing a rigorous, well-balanced education for our diverse student population. Ensuring that our ESL students and students with disabilities receive the best education available will be an integral part of this continued academic excellence."
Why should voters elect you? "I have the technical and resource management skills required, and a proven record of community involvement, motivation and dedication to address our children's educational needs."
