What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "Finding the right balance between fiscal responsibility, improving test scores across all demographics and challenging every student to reach their highest potential. Retention, recruitment and training of high-quality teachers in a competitive ennvironment is a top priority. Finding innovative, cost-effective ways to address the needs of special education, limited English proficient households and low-income families is necessary to bridge the achievement gap and maintain state accreditation. Equally important is support for programs and curriculum which challenge our brightest students while raising the standards for all children."

Why should voters elect you? "With my extensive experience, in-depth knowledge and demonstrated commitment, I will work to improve communication, foster confidence and build support for our public schools."
