Why should voters elect you?

"First-class schools, affordable housing, voting rights, less taxes for the lower and middle classes, and a better quality of life. My leadership will deliver."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Education gives people power — the opportunity for success, a shot at the American dream. As mayor, I will ensure that our children receive the very best education and hold teachers and principals accountable to the highest standards. I will push to renovate dilapidated school buildings to provide students with an environment that promotes success. Finally, I will demand program and financial oversight to maximize the success of the school system. A better-educated D.C. will have less crime, a lower unemployment rate, and a brighter future. As a result, all D.C. residents will have a greater quality of life."
