Why should voters elect you?

"Ward 7and 8 voters should elect me because as a parent I have the personal commitment combined with the professional skills to fix public education."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The most urgent problem facing District 4 (Wards 7 and 8) is strong leadership on the school board. Parents' confidence in DCPS to provide District children with a quality public education is at an all-time low. In a school system with an over $1 billion annual budget, our children have been shortchanged. The sad state of our school facilities attest to the urgent need for a change on the school board in District 4 where 40 percent of school-age children reside."
