Why should voters elect you?
"I have the skills, knowledge and experience needed to gain bipartisan support on Capitol Hill for voting rights and home rule for D.C. residents."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"D.C. residents are entitled to the same democratic rights as all other Americans. As the D.C. shadow representative, my goal is to obtain voting representation for D.C. residents in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, and to gain home-rule control over our local laws and budgets. There are multiple ways to achieve these goals. I am flexible and creative and support all the options. I am a voting rights advocate with a proven track record. I ran the successful campaign to give D.C. residents the voting rights of initiative, referendum and recall. I ask for your support."
