Why should voters elect you?

"I am the only candidate running who has a child in D.C. public schools."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Our most urgent problem is that the Republican-dominated U.S. Congress uses the District as a laboratory for its social experimentation programs, including the voucher program and the charter school program. Both of these programs draw resources and students away from our traditional public schools and put them where citizens have little or no oversight."
