What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"D.C. public schools must become the system of first choice by ensuring strong academic outcomes for all children, developing world-class facilities and building an effective special education system. To accomplish this we must have an effective principal in every school who is held accountable for student achievement and provide high-quality professional development for teachers; create an independent construction authority to rebuild and modernize schools; shorten the timeline of the Master Facilities Plan; and serve more special education students within DCPS in an inclusive model, expand intervention and mediation services, and improve special education centers."
