Why should voters elect you?
"I pledge to bring commitment, resolve, vigor and passion to the struggle for statehood. I will not be a shadow."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"It is painfully and tragically ironic that American blood is being shed and lives are being lost in the effort to bring democracy to other countries and yet the citizens of the District of Columbia have no voting representation in our national legislature. A concerted effort must be made to involve more D.C. residents in the effort to turn up the political thermostat and decibel level regarding our second-class citizenship."
