Why should voters elect you?

"I would focus on improving public education and services for all District children. I have a lifelong history of community service to the District."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Improving public education for all children in the District of Columbia is a high-priority issue facing the D.C. Board of Education, parents, teachers and other public officials. Blaming teachers, administrators and a lack of resources must end. Everyone who claims to care about children must put aside personal and political agendas to improve the quality of public education. Education for our children can happen in places other than the classroom. Wherever the child is, learning can take place."
