Why should voters elect you?

"I have a 23-year record of leadership in Ward 6 and the vision to protect, improve and expand our community assets to benefit every citizen."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Ward 6 is at a critical juncture of its development, with unprecedented investment and rapid growth that can either reinforce or undermine everything we love about our neighborhoods. From the Southwest waterfront to Massachusetts Avenue, from Penn Quarter to Hill East, we need to protect and enhance our community's character, diversity and quality of life. I will insist on community involvement in development decisions, incentives to retain and cultivate locally owned businesses, accountability in rebuilding our public schools, new transit options and a mix of housing choices to ensure that every Ward 6 neighborhood has the amenities it deserves."
